Jennifer Koch’s artistic practice centres on a deep connection with community, nature and spirituality.

 

From a very early age, Jenny realised her love of drawing and painting. After having her four daughters, she started training as a painter and later completed her Visual Arts Diploma at Chisholm, Dandenong.

 

Jenny is experienced in a range of mediums including oils, charcoal and mixed media. She has over twenty years of experience as an Arts Educator teaching art to the local community and in various education institutions. She is co-founder of the creative recovery course Art and Soul which engaged hundreds of students from 2010–2016. She has painted alongside world music bands in various settings and continues to enjoy allowing music to energise her visual representations.

 

Jenny is currently practicing painting from her home studio in Nar Nar Goon with her husband John and their many poodles and British Short Hair cats. She loves to draw and paint and is open to new commissions.
